Fireworks and Baptisms!

Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays. There is something about it that is special....it signifies the middle of summer, it's perfect swimming weather, and it means people usually gather at our house for celebrating. We had a big party this year at our house and then took the boat out on the river for fireworks!

The girls dressed in their red, white and blue!
After the 4th we went to Albq with Sean since he had to work and the kids and I wanted to go do some fun stuff! We visited the zoo and Explora Museum. Had a great time and got to see the Lucero clan!

Sophia and I had a sweet mommy daughter date night going to the Trinity with dinner and seeing a local play at the Carlsbad Community Theater. I love my sweet firstborn.

End of summer meant a lot of night swimming...

Our kids were baptized in the river behind our house by our children's pastor, Dez Ochoa. We had family and friends gather around to see! What a special memory...and moment.

Late night boat rides before bed. Mable started joining in and she really liked it. We didn't know that we wouldn't have much time left with her. Soaking in all of summertime before school started...
