When I think back over the past year with Harper, it's really hard to remember life before she was here! We though we were done with our family with our two kids. And then here came our Harps. She is everything we never knew we needed. She has brought joy, sweetness, love and fun to our family. She has taught our kids to have patience, to care for someone other than themselves, and to love more than they knew how before. I have loved watching Sean be a father all over again, and have felt more sure of myself as a mother this third time around. We have perspective....all the tough phases are just that- phases. Harper can bring a smile to anyone's face in an instant. She fiercely loves her momma. The best part of her day is probably when brother and sister get home from school. She loves to torment Mable. She gives kisses to Daddy, looks just like him, and loves to play with his hats. She reminds us of God's goodness everyday, as do our other two children. They are life's greatest blessings!
We had a small party for Harper with just close family on her actual birthday. Sophia spent hours making this precious banner for her and we hung it in the kitchen!
Patiently waiting for something
Harper about killed us....she meticulously picked off the purple dots from around the cake, and then moved onto the H before ever digging in to the cake. I had to show her it could be picked up! This is so true to her nature....she has always been a picker/pincher. It's her thing,
That sweet face doesn't get any sweeter. Harper June you are the world to mommy and daddy. We adore you and know that great things are in store for you. Love you, Peanut.
