Our little man just turned 4! Sniff sniff........I can't believe he is this old. It makes me sad sometimes to be honest. He's just not my little baby anymore. But, he does still love a good snuggle and occasionally will let me hold him. I take advantage of every opportunity he asks me to pick him up or carry him because those days will be over soon. Not to mention he'll be bigger than me! Just a few things about our brown-eyed boy......
-He weighed in at around 41 lbs at his well visit, the exact same weight as Sophia
-He is only a few inches shorter than her
-He continues to mispronounce words, especially those beginning with "g" "c" or "r". He can say them correctly with patience and thought, but is lazy during conversational speech and just substitutes other sounds (D for G, T for C, and W for R). Some days I correct him, others I just look at him and know I'll miss those sounds soon......
-He will be going to preschool again this year on Tuesday/Thursdays. He'll be in the bears class
-He finally can say all of his ABCs, but he rushes through
-He can count to 20
-He knows all of his shapes and colors
-His favorite superhero is Spiderman right now
-He still loves playing with his trucks and legos, but really gets into his light sabers
-His favorite show is probably Bubble Guppies or Star Wars
-His favorite meal is salad! Of all things! This is what he orders when we go out to eat almost every time.
-He loves cherry coke
-He is quite the story teller and makes up all kinds of tales
-He's very animated when he talks, much like his sister
-He writes and eats right handed, but bats lefty every.single.time
-He'll be playing soccer again this fall, but really can't wait for t-ball in the spring
Had a Pool Pirate Party at Nonnie and Poppie's! Here he is waiting on the swing out front for people to arrive
Giving his best "argggg"
Lots of little pirates dining on hotdogs, beans, cheetos, watermelon, and sand pudding! His requests.
Grayer and his friend, Kooper, in Batman mode
Blowing out the candle!
We had a super fun sleepover with cousins Abby and Emmy late June. They all slept in the living room and all ended up in completely different places than they were when we started out the night!
Spending some time down on our lot by the river. We are getting ready to start building!!
Sophia and Daddy had a date one night. She picked going out to eat at Pizza Inn of all things. We fixed her hair and she put on a little lipgloss for the occasion:)
