Well, February came and went. Pretty quickly. We finally.......and I do mean finally, made it to Alamogordo to see some dear friends. Chad and Amy have been gone for several years now and we had not made it as a family to see them. It was long overdue, and lots of fun. Dathan and Sophia are close in age, and Kacy and Grayer are close in age. Even though Grayer was running a funky fever while we were there, they let us stay and we had a blast!
Our 4 littles- someday we will look back on this picture and remember just how precious and small they were at one point.
We went to White Sands and Chad and Sean thought they'd take a little jump off the steep hill we were playing on. This was the final take. Take one of Sean trying ended with him whapping his foot on the sand! Our overgrown boys:)
Sophia and Dathan wanted to keep going down in the sled, but getting back up that hill was HARD! It was steep and the sand was cold. We got some good exercise in that morning!
This is a classic picture of a boy with an older sister- pushing the stroller but loaded up with dinosaurs:) We had a little health scare with Grayer right after our trip to Alamogordo but everything ended up just fine! He had some monstrous lymph nodes, but turns out it was due to a bacterial infection. We are ever grateful for our health.
Sean and Sophia went to our church for a Valentine's Day Father/Daughter Tea. It was decorated so cute. We are blessed with a wonderful Children's Pastor named Amy who is creative and full of energy. She is a mom and has a heart for kids. We are thankful for her!
Sean took our kids out to some friends of ours to see their farm a few weeks ago. I was so proud of Sophia for riding on a horse again! I think this horse's name is Dunny. He is old and slow. Just what she needed:)
And Mr. Grayer was in HEAVEN getting to ride the tractors with Aaron. He is really into monster trucks, tractors, and anything else that has big wheels. All boy right now.
And a funny picture of Sophia. This was actually on the day of her birthday- February 9th! She is such a tiny girl still for her age. She weighs about 34 pounds and isn't very tall. I guess it's in her genes to be small like her momma!
