Preschool and Money and Dance, Oh My!!

It's been busy, busy this week for us! Sophia started dance yesterday....pre-ballet. She had a slight freak-out when we got there, but then settled down and went on to have a blast! All day long she was showing me (and anyone else who would pay attention) what she learned, which was some position and shuffling across the room. It was pretty darn cute.

She also started back to preschool at CCM for 2 days a week, and Grayer is going too, but just on Tuesdays. I actually got the entire house cleaned without any interruptions on Tuesday. It was FAB-U-LOUS!!! Felt a little strange not having any babies in the house, but it is going to be a great 4-hour window for me to do stuff by myself. Sophia has the same teacher for dance that she has for preschool this year, which is really nice for her.

Grayer exploring his new preschool room.....he cried for the first 15 minutes, but went on to have a great day

Sophia all ready for her first day.....she picked out her clothes all by herself. So independent these days. She had a great day.

Sophia has a little piggy bank that we put money in sometimes, and we dumped it out to count how much she had the other day. She thinks anything is $1 if it's a bill, so Sean had her hold this. We should enjoy the innocence now.....pretty soon she'll know there's a REAL difference between a 1 and a 100!

Counting out the goods with Daddy....I think she had $11.20 total. She put it all back for now instead of taking it out to buy something.

Totally random......but if you have never tried Nutella, I highly recommend it. It is YUM-O! The kids love it on grahams or whatever. Sophia really likes it.

just a sweet smile

and another sweet smile

Had to put this in there......this is Sophia's new favorite place to be. She is on her "stage", usually with a microphone or pom-poms, singing and dancing to whatever is in the CD player, usually Mamma Mia soundtrack or The Beach Boys. We've been on a Beach Boys kick lately.....it's such great fun, clean music.

And Grayer enjoys pulling the laundry hamper around the house. He is a strong little booger. He'll dump the stuff out and crawl in. So much to discover!
