Rock Family

Yesterday was so warm that we went outside after the kids had woken up from naps, and it was around 73 degrees. Sophia stripped off her jacket and shoes, and was barefoot and in a tank top it was so nice. One of her favorite things to do is go out to our rock bed in our driveway, and play in the rocks. She brought a pile of them back to the blanket and told me a story about them being a family. She is very much into pretend play these days, and that imagination of hers is growing everyday. Here she is proudly holding one of her rock babies.

So here is her little rock family. The biggest one was the grandpa she said, the black one was the mommy, the one next to it the daddy, and the two little ones in the corner were the sisters. She wouldn't lay the babies down, but there were alot of them.
Grayer is my boy. If he's been without me for awhile, then sees me, he starts whimpering and crying. It's kind of pathetic, but I secretly like it. He wants me the most, which I know won't always last.

Grayer at 7 months old. I took him in for shots last week, and he weighed 21 lbs, 9 oz. I think he may finally be getting longer, but they didn't measure him. We'll have to wait until his 9 month appt. to see that. We're pretty sure he's teething something fierce, but haven't seen any actual teeth yet.

Sean got a medicine ball and has been working out with it. Sophia thinks she's working out with her medicine ball too (aka the squishy soccer ball or softball). Here she is doing her ab work.

working out on the push-up bars

She's lifting it overhead and then bending down. She does it so fast and viciously she gets a headrush. We'll be celebrating her 3rd birthday in just a few weeks. I can't believe she's almost 3!!!
