It's unbelievable to think that a year ago we were getting ready to take home our brand new baby girl. We have made it!!! This first year has been such an amazing time of learning, patience, love, and pure joy. Sophia is such a precious girl to us. She makes every day more and more meaningful. She's doing new things everyday....literally. Fun stuff she's done lately:
- taken about 7-8 steps on her own; she likes to let go and walk from one piece of furniture to another
- says "touch" and then touches something!
- eats peanut butter and LOVES it; also loves to make an enormous mess with it
- imitating lots of words: shoes, thank you, no no, toys
- drinking whole milk from a cup
- puts the phone to her ear and pretends to talk to someone on the other end
- loves to listen to books being read to her, as long as they're not too long
