Let's Hear it For the Boy!

We celebrated this sweet boy's 2nd birthday this past Saturday! It's hard to believe that 2 years have already gone by......flown by....whirled by. He is such a sweet, kind-hearted little guy and he gives us lots of laughs and joy. We had a Toy Story party for him, which was actually perfect given that the new movie comes out this weekend. We found all sorts of Toy Story themed stuff for him. But we really did it because he loves Woody....or as he says "udi". Here are some pictures of his special day.

Have to wear that Woody cowboy hat! Actually he only wore it long enough for me to take a picture, but it sure was cute on him!

Lots of alien baby cupcakes with a big cake in the middle......Nicole suggested the claw, we got out the foil, and there you have it. The CLAW! Do you get it??!??

Lots of sweet friends and cousins over to play in the water (which I got ZERO pictures of....oops!) outside and eat some yummy food. We are so blessed with amazing people around us.

The Birthday Boy!

My friend, Nicole, got him some dress up clothes, and as soon as he opened this pilot's hat it was over! This is all he wanted to wear!

Oh.....had to put a picture in here of his official "2" state of being. He was throwing a fit on the floor over something

And some other pics from our month so far......here he is with Zoe May. Our kids love our dogs. And our dogs tolerate our kids! Ha ha!

Playing in the dress up hats

We have a dear friend, Janis, who we've known for a long time now. She recently went to Seoul, Korea for work and brought back some cool hats for the kids. Here is Grayer in his getup.

We are lucky to live somewhere with water that runs through our town. We have the Pecos River, and there's an area that we all grew up calling the "beach". Now....I have to say, it is no white sandy beach, but it is a fun place to take the kids to play in the sand and do paddleboats and whatnot. We went last week thinking they would have tons of fun in the sand and not want to swim, since we swim all the time in Nonnie's pool, but they ended up swimming almost the entire time! And this water isn't what I would call "ideal" swimming water! But, they had fun and they got a good, soapy bath when we were done. Here's Sophia with Abby and Emmy.

Digging in the sand

This picture is so funny. Sophia's goggles were a little tight!

Ready for the Beach!!
